If you have a small appetite and you’re on a small budget, then order from the kid’s menu. It’s usually significantly cheaper and it fills you up. You will also want to plan out your meals ahead of time to help you make a good food budget. Walt Disney World has a full list of dining locations on their website that’s well organized with prices listed. This will help with your planning tremendously.
Free Photo Opportunities
Chase Card Members who have a Disney logo or Disney inspired debit or credit card can have special free photo opportunities throughout parks like Epcot (once character meet-and-greets return).

Walt Disney World magic can be found all over the resort, but one must have treat that encompasses all that enchantment is the pineapple Dole Whip. There was a time when obtaining this legendary snack was hard to come by, but since the demand has skyrocketed over the past few years. Always pack a towel
It’s the key to successful galactic hitchhiking and plain common sense. You never know when you will need it, whether it’s at the beach, on a picnic, or just to dry off. While many hostels offer towels, you never know and carrying a small towel won’t add that much weight to your bag.
Use an Official Disney Travel Agent
Book your vacation through an authorized Disney vacation planner to make sure you’re saving the most on your Disney trip. Disney vacation planners usually have the latest and newest deals that Disney offers.
Buy a small backpack/suitcase
By purchasing a small backpack (I like something around 35/40 liters), you will be forced you to pack light and avoid carrying too much stuff. DON’T Forget to Download Maps
Bringing paper maps is not really my thing but I knew I couldn’t always rely on my phone to have service. I can’t stress how clutch it was to have maps downloaded. We had Google maps AND maps.me maps both downloaded and we would still be driving around now, lost forever, without them.
Hide your money
I don’t care what other people say, hiding your money in a travel money belt is a great idea. I never hit the road without my security belt. This is a regular looking belt with a concealed pocket on the inside – you can hide up to twenty notes inside and wear it through airport scanners without setting them off. This is hands down the best way to hide your cashand weed. It is important to remember to actually conceal your money belt if it is more of a pouch than a belt. If you wear it on the outside of your shirt like a fanny pack, you are basically signaling to all the pickpockets within the vicinity exactly where all of your cash and valuables are. Use common sense and be discreet about how you wear your travel money belt. Pickpockets the world over are highly skilled individuals. It doesn’t take much of a window for them to rip you off. Compare tour sites before booking (Klook/GYG/Viator)
On the same note … there are a lot of tour companies online offering different deals and experiences, but you’d be surprised at just how much the difference in price can be between some of these companies. We always cross-check different websites for the same tour or experience, to see who is giving the best deal. Sometimes this might only be a couple of dollars, but if you’re on a budget, this will add up! Here’s all the tour sites we have used and recommend:
